Buffyfest conducted an interview with Jane Espenson about Season 8.  I... have a lot to say about it.  And yes, I still feel positive and hopeful for the conclusion of Season 8.  I'm still enjoying Season 8.  But this?  Yeah, there's still wankery going on that's making my feminism light up like a radioactive Christmas tree.

I stumbled across this old account of Jane Espenson at WriterCon back in 2004.  It's revealing and wonderfully entertaining!  Why is Jane so awesome?  She talks about her love of Jonathan, her love of shipping Spike with everyone, the subtext of Spike and Xander in the basement in Season 4, how she feels badly that the writers did a disservice to ( Read more... )

Alyson and Alexis talk about their decision to have a home birth in  Part One of their video interview on the website My Best Birth.  Part Two should be coming shortly.

I loved hearing about Alyson's mom worrying about how it would work, "Well, where's Alexis going to sit?"  And Alexis going, "Anywhere he wants, it's his house."

What a lovely couple.
